Why do you attend lawyer-training programs? To win trials. And yet, if we're honest, most seminars just give you theory; they don’t actually increase your skill in the courtroom. My program is different. If you are accepted into my Opening Statement Studio you’ll experience up-on-your-feet learning from the moment you walk in the door.
Is this program right for you? Let me ask you a few questions:
Do you understand the juror mindset and how to increase receptivity at trial?
Do you know what the #1 thing jurors want and need at trial and how to provide it?
Do you know the real purpose of opening statement?
Do you know how to engage your jurors and keep them interested during your opening?
Do you know how to deal with defense arguments that may hurt your case in opening?
Can you tell an engaging story that jurors will remember back in the verdict room?
Can you teach the jury about complex issues in your case without confusing them?
Do you know how to avoid the three most common mistakes in opening?
Can you comfortably talk about money in opening statement?
Do you understand basic group dynamic rules like how to read the group and show up as the leader?
Do you understand the difference between authoritative and approachable nonverbals and when to use each?
Can you deliver your opening without notes but not have it memorized word for word?
If you answered no to even one of these questions, you will benefit from attending this program.

You make your first impression with the jury during voir dire, and it is the only time you get to interact with them directly. Opening statement is the one time you get to tell the entire story of your case. These two components of trial impact the outcome more than any other part. Why leave them up to chance?
Be purposeful in your communication and take your practice to the next level. We only accept SIX attorneys per class, so complete the application below to apply for a spot in our next available studio.
