Welcome to the "From Hostage to Hero" Podcast, my name is Sari de la Motte, aka: the Attorney Whisperer. I have to apologize to my listeners for such a break in the podcast; I’ve been working on my book, From Hostage to Hero, due out this year, but now I am back in the swing of things and looking forward to talking with you regularly! To get us back on track, in the first four podcasts I introduced you to the concept of juror as hostage. We talked about the S-C-A-R-F model from David Rock, author of Your Brain at Work, and the five social needs that when threatened, can activate the survival instinct in the brain.
